The Purpose

The International Buddhist Donation Fund (IBDF) is an organization supporting both individuals and regional groups interested in the Buddha Dhamma. The IBDF provides funds for various projects facilitating the Buddha Dhamma. These projects include the support of Buddhist monks and nuns living in the Czech Republic and the support of Czech monks and nuns living abroad. The IBDF raises funds for publishing Buddhist literature and helps to organize meditation retreats. One of our priorities is to establish a monastery and meditation centre which would provide refuge and accommodation for Buddhist monks as well as for lay people wishing to participate in meditation retreats.

An Invitation to Do Good

Whether you consider yourself a Buddhist, or just a sympathizer, you are warmly invited to support our activities and help monks and lay meditators of all creeds. Your inquiries about the activities of the IBDF are most welcome at our e-mail and postal addresses. If you already know enough, you may direct your financial contribution to the bank account of the IBDF and we shall mail you a confirmation for the purpose of tax deduction. The IBDF is an approved charity.
